I tend to get into spiritual things of late. I enjoy poems that help us learn about life. Our trials and tests and what makes the human spirit learn and grow from them. I like to write about people, and places, and I also like to make it funny sometimes. I like to be creative. I'll write about anything that interests me. I have gone through many tests in life, lost many people, traveled far from home, found some things I was looking for, and still have a long ways to go.
But I am learning as I go.
I was married (Nov 2002) and originally from Upper Michigan. I moved to the state of Washington August 2002, far from the place I grew and knew. I lived in Washington until my wife told me she didn't love me anymore(March 31, 2004). I am now back in Upper Michigan...among friends and family.
I've moved back to my hometown in Upper Michigan and I'm taking things one step at a time. Family and friends are happy I am back, and I am feeling very good at this time to be back and have such a great place to live(I moved out of my brother's place). I have moved into a tall building and living on the 15th floor. It's overlooking the water and is Heavenly. I am enjoying life again, and the journey. I will follow my spirit where the Angels guide me.
These last two years a Goddess of love has come into my life and given me the best love I've ever known. My journey has surely taken a spiritual flight which I am so happy for. LOVE is very strong in my life and much more complete thanks to her.
The journey continues as I go. And as I go....I write more poetry about the life that surrounds me.
I love music of all kinds. From Celtic to early British, Australian to Country USA, African to Folk, Pop and Rock to Oldies. I am a genealogist and have researched my French Canadian heritage back to France. I help others doing their family trees in the same place.
I write poems that rhyme. I enjoy that style and it is fun to see how it will come out in the end.
Some of may favorite TV shows are: Smallville, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Lost, Survivor, Everybody Loves Raymond, Scrubs, Star Trek, Heroes, Monk, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, Survivor, American Idol, and many others I'll tune into.
I love reading Dean Koontz, as his style and characters are so well done. I also enjoy F.Paul Wilson's "Jack The Repairman" series.
I love Tolkein and Fantasy books. A Quest with a lot of magical rings and swords and Wizards and elves and dwarves just takes me to another world.
But I also love the magic of the real spiritual magic that each of us have inside of us. To rise above the common things and feel, and love, and grow.
I am enjoying taking pictures of the beauty shown to us through Mother Earth.
Thank you each for coming to read my poems.
