I love to write, especially poetry. Nature speaks to me the most, and it is reflected in my writing, particularly my love of haiku (hence the "575" in my username!)
I'm a little new to the site here, but so far I love what I have seen.
There are some amazing poets here.
I also love to write about life. Emotions... thoughts... the questions we have... the soul searching... those things that make us tick, breathe, live, laugh and love. These are the things that make up the truly human experience, and each individual is a unique work of art, colors on life's canvas, painted lovingly by the Creator. I also love the mystical, the mysterious, and sometimes you will see this reflected as well.
I use the flow of lines, punctuation, and spacing to try and convey the feelings on "paper" (or digital canvas!) that I am feeling to others. I have done this since I was a young girl. When I wrote, it just seemed to "come out" that way and I have not tried to really conform it to any rigid thing in particular (unless I'm writing in a certain form). I like it to be free flowing, moving, capturing the reader up in a wave of words, a gentle ride to the end of its course, a journey of the mind, heart and soul.
I am the wife of a wonderful man, whom God has blessed me with... and the mom of a precious, precious little girl, who is the absolute sunshine of my little world. I have learned more from her than I ever thought possible. Just looking at the world through her eyes brings a fresh new perspective to my own.
Blessings and love to all of you, life would be so dull and colorless without the vibrant word art so uniquely painted by the poets. @-->-
