I started writing in 6th grade in order to make worlds and events that were happier than mine. Then i started to write about my own life and relations and that was fine but it got grimmer and then i noticed that people wanted read my things so i started writing in metaphors and archetypes but now i just write whatever i feel like putting down. wether people understand it or not.
I started writing in abab style and i still do that the most frequently but then i started writing in this style i call Withers style although im sure there is a proper name for it. It goes ACABB and the C rhymes throughout the poem, recently i decided to start writing in the form i find to be the hardest, by not rhyming. There is a difference between poetry and dictation and without a rhyming scheme its harder to achieve that. I suck at poetry really but i like doing because its my own way of expressing my feelings.
I hate what poetry has become, it use to be that it was a form of art that was adored and looked upon as an act that was only performed by intellectuals and such. But now its become this thing that is done by EVERYONE and noone respects poetry as much as it deserves. But its not about impressing other people its about venting. So i guess that nothing really matters right?
