To those who know me they might say I have a normal life of an average teenager. I guess those who truly know me, which is seldom few, would know the absolute truth about me and my life.
We have all I have been hurt in the past, just as many of you have, and I had no idea how to deal with it and then I discovered this little talent I had for writing. At first it was short stories and gradually it has built up to poetry. Or down, depending on how you look at it given that poetry is usually shorter that stories.^_^
Every person in my life that has held that title of my best friend has trampled all over it and metaphorically spit in my face. Now that I think about it.... I hope I never have another best friend. Simply an adopted sibling.
I do have to say that, since my freshman year in highschool and since I became a member of Allpoetry, that I have become a more mature, and insightful person. I think that it's because of all the stuff that people have to deal with, that and we make most of our childish mistakes in our teenage years. Maybe that's why we consider ourselves adults after graduation. We've used up all of our mistakes already. I don't think that anyone truly grows up, they just make larger mistakes.
