Hello,
I enjoy reading and commenting on the poetry
of others as well as writing my own.
I write different types from free-verse
to structurized rhyming poetry.
I find commenting on the work of others very
rewarding. It helps me to learn new approaches
and inspires me to write more.
I love giving details in my comments
and many times they can get a bit long.
I try to include my interpretation
of the poem, how I can relate the
message to my own life, images
and phrases that caught my attention,
and the emotions (if any)that the
piece made me feel.
_A Child's Perception of Mother Throughout the Years_
4 years of age ~ My Mommy can do anything!
8 years of age ~ My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 years of age ~ My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 years of age ~ Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 years of age ~ Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 years of age ~ That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 years of age ~ Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 years of age ~ Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.
45 years of age ~ Wonder what Mom would think about it?
65 years of age ~ Wish I could talk it over with Mom.
~~~~Cherish Your Mother~~~~
"Fill your soul with freedom
from all self-doubt and guilt,
and surround your heart with
the soothing sound of forgiveness."
perfectsunset on June 29, 2007Thank you so much for the comment on my poem Honeysuckle
It really made me feel good inside to hear your opinion on it, and that you liked it although it was sad. I do know he is not worthy of me, yet I'm pretty sure you know the feeling, he could be the biggest jerk in the world, yet somehow ya still love him
But I have moved on, slowly but I still have feelings for this guy, so no happy ending yet. And thanks for the reference on the Ben and Jerry's part, honestly I wasn't so sure of the wording there, I didn'y know what to put, any suggestions to make it flow better for that line? I would definately appreciate it. Thanks again Breelynn
