I am Strength, but I temper it with Composure.
I am Intense, but I temper it with a Calm Voice.
I am Ambitious, but I temper it with Patience.
I am Free, but I ground myself with Reality.
I am Stone, but I soften it with a Gardenia.
I choose to be, instead of choosing not to be, because the World is filled with such wonder.
I choose to live past the drama and pain, because the World values those who endure, and disposes of those who can't.

I just wanted to thank you so much for your comments! They were very nice, especially considering the pieces weren't very well written, lol.
Your work, however, is really amazing and I'm such a poetry freak that I can't wait to read more.
