Shadows run, day is done
The night is free,
To hope myself a lucky one
That she should comfort me
Grace and goodness, and beauty too
A spirit to commune
All of these I find in you
Upon A Blushful Moon.

The fracture of reflections are illusion
The face that bears the weight of all the years
Being sculpted by the process of exclusion
Til her soul shine ever brighter through her tears
Calls for the nightsong and challenge the wind
for our time hurries by all too soon
Secure a sweet moment, I can hold to the end
In the light of a blushful moon.

The creek is laughing a bubbling song
While the blue grass turns to gold
The fragile flower is also strong
Though a perfect joy to hold
That I have never known the like
Or heard a sweeter tune
I'm taken by the lightning strike
Beneath a blushful moon.
