Hey, well you found me. Now I guess I should make it worth your while, eh?

I'll start with the boring details of my life, and believe me it is boring. I don't jump out of planes into far off warfaring cities. I don't cure diseases or anything.

I work at Lacey College Mcdonald's in lil' ol' Olympia, Washington.

The job is...a job. Its a constant stream of small, but trusted and very welcome income. It pays the bills and lets me go out and have fun every now and then.

If there is one thing I have learned working there, it's this: A job is only stressful when you care about it.

It may not be the Taj Mahal of employment, but I have a very good work ethic, so I care about what I do and how I do it.

Thus, since I care, it is a stressful, fast-paced work environment. I love it, honestly. Some people thrive in slower paced, more relaxed jobs. I don't. I cannot tolerate tedium, it just simply wears thin. So, right now, this is perfect for me.

Plus, I love the hell out of the people I work with. You will never find a wider, more diverse range of personalities than you will working for fast food.

I plan on doing some writing on my day-to-day life there at Mcd's.

Anyway, enough about that.

My name's Shane and there is a lot to tell. It ain't more or less than you or anyone, it's just me, myself, and me again.

My music: Metal, Rock--Oh, yeah. Stones, Sabbath, AC/DC, Zep, all the classics, but of course, I bang to all the NEW classics: Staind, System of a Down, Audioslave, Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Slipknot, White Stripes, Tenacious D, and of course the Gods of metal, Metallica. I can't leave out two of my favorite bands, one you may know, the other probably not.

Rammstein and Oomph! (The exclamation mark is latched to their name, as it should be)

I love the German language, especially when its screamed, barked, or grunted in. ****!!

My Movies: I'm not the preverbial movie buff, but I do like my action flicks, horror, etc, but honestly I will watch anything once...I've walked away from a flick or two before, but not often.

I even sat through Catwoman.

I purged my popcorn and Pibb afterwards, but damnit, I saw every bit of that (sigh) movie.

I am real, I like real people. If you fluff or fake, honestly its not worth your time or mine. Just be you, and I'll be me.

I'm in love with an awsome woman. We met, of course, at my work. We've been together for almost a year now. I fall deeper for her every day.
