I'm rather simple. I enjoy my vices well enough, and I have a fascination with both literal and physical revolution.

FunnelWaxFate on December 26, 2008Oye, there. Sorry this is late, just wanted to wish you and yours a happy Christmas. Hope it is lovely, white, and devilish up there with that cold weather. Toodles,

FunnelWaxFate on December 17, 2008Ah, harsh weather, no better kind! Get an ice storm recently, did you? My old chum, Heather, has slipped countless times on the thick glaze in Northern Stateline Illinois. Ice storms and so forth. Sounds like an incredible phenomenon, the clouds you described. I’ve never seen cloud formations that striking; sounds glorious. Harsh and barren lands are of the grandest, I’d say. And bitter cold, too wonderful! I recall the grandeur of glowing rime in the lavender-hued landscape of snowy dawn just before the sun began to encroach…Used to go trekking through it at around 4 in the morning, the temperature lovely frigid. Sometimes saw some deer, once a few turkeys. Oh, I’m sorry to go on like this. Good to hear from you, Mr. Captain. Hope things are well with you. The beauty of New England must be quite a good refuge in times of turbulence, or just stupendous for brooding, eh? Well, ta, ta,

FunnelWaxFate on November 25, 2008Aloha, Mr. Captain. Just wished to stop by and say a bit of a hello. Been quite an extended period of time. The weather must be stupendous where you are; vibrant and chilly, eh? Here it's not too shabby, really. The brine is back in the air, so that provides some heady comfort. Hope all is well and wish you a rather splendid Thanksgiving. Right, toodles,
