Requiem to a journey

We tried to let go
of the sails that
swept us, sails that
claimed to have truth
pushing them.
we tried to
cast away the
sentiments, grains
of illusiveness and
timeless afflictions,

Commotion...

Chaos which was

never without

traces of falsehood

impermanence,

treachery of the times

we held testament

to who we never were.

Walked on gracious

lands in times never

ending, witnessing

worlds like sands,

whirling with time

like dust in the wind.

we always fell

Prey.

Innocent...

Ideas unspoken,

they covered our sights

slowly with time, how

were we to ever know?

All we realised was,

darkness is all we have,

so we tried to pace

forward, tracked in the

wilderness for the eternal

sun, blindly searching

for warmth.

We were never at wonder
why we never
could
catch time, and heal the
wounds that tail us,
following us around
like ghosts in the ether,

Whispering...

Attaining words in
the winter breeze
death was upon us,
stifling, it chased us
riding on ghosts of the
past, shadows that
screamed from the

emptiness.

 Constantly running ...
though the winds of
change never once
dropped us, at times
we ran against it
we suffered the
consequences.

...Patience

Holding it in the palm
of our hands
we tracked forward,
death was always in time,
but we managed to
track from beyond
and from beyond
we sought for the eternal,

but with every turn,
the journey became
harder, our light became
dimmer, weaker was the
truth, it left us longing
to quench our thirst
in a journey everlasting
wondering who we are.
