I would like to be able to call myself a poet,
though most times I think my "poems" are more
what I like to call "brain blurbs" more than anything...
And I really dont have much time to write these days,
now that Im chasing a baby around the house all the time -
But I do find the time to sit and ponder things,
write down my thoughts or dreams
and wishes for my children and my family.

My Knight - My baby
fill me with love like bread fills
pained, empty stomachs.
My little Eli -
do not be fooled by dimples...
he is devious.
My son Christian sits -
taking the world in through eyes
blinded by his youth.
She's always laughing -
like she is being tickled
by her Grandma's ghost...
We are complete now -
with enough love to last us
another lifetime.
