Heyy I'm 16 and I love writing so much. I love poetry because after everything I have been through its the best way to get my feelings out in the open. I value memories, pictures and friends. If I had no friends I wouldn't be alive to day. I believe in many things the things I believe in are :
~I believe that you can't help who you fall in love with
~I believe that if i eat a bowl of whip cream n no one is watching then the calories don't matter
~I believe that it's ok to cry for no reason
~I believe that it's ok to let go of people after they die and that you can take your time letting go of those people
~I believe if we don't believe then nothing will happen and that believing is what keeps us alive
~I believe in good
~I beleive that if my best friend made a mistake and I told her she and I would be ok cause thats what best friends do
~And I believe that believing we survive is what makes us survive.
I keep promises and always try to do good from donating money to hospitals to walking in the walk for breast cancer.

strawberryfields4 : ps on April 9, 2008I have written poems when i was younger, and i could never re-write them because I can't remember them. I write whatever I'm feeling at that specific point in my life and for some reason the exact lines for that specific situation i'm going through only happens once.

strawberryfields4 : thanks on April 9, 2008I'm sure I could learn from you as well. You have talent and some times writers get stuck into a certain style or become repetitive which i hope by seeing other peoples' work i won't do. I don't think I could have wrote this way 10 years ago, not that I didn't know how, but simply my content would not have been as deep due to being extremely sheltered and had barely any experiences when i was 15. Now that i've had several different experiences..college, divorce, kids, parties, different types of friends, different places, ect...i can write through my pain and experience. My advice to anyone is to take whatever you are most passionate about at the moment and brainstorm your ideas as fast as the lines come to you write them down..then go back and edit later.
