Hi there. My name is Kimberly but my friends call me Kim for short. I'm 21 and I live in Norfolk, VA and I go to a Community College in the area. I came here to VA from the Philippines.I was originally born in Italy. i speak two languages: Tagalog and English.That's it for me! I plan on trying to become a teacher and also help children with disabilities. I would like to travel one day cause I want to see the world from my point of view. I'm a full time student and I work as well. But when I have free time, I use that time to hang out with friends. When I want time to myself and I just want to think things over, I usually write a couple poems. I believe writing how I feel makes me feel more relaxed and more connected with myself. I never really did used to write poetry before but when I broke up with an old boyfriend, somehow all that I felt, I expressed them through poetry and that really helped me get over the heartbreak and pain. I can't really write poetry on command. For some reason that just doesn't work with me. I write what I feel at that moment. Express how you feel through your poetry. I never really been able to tell people how I feel, but the only way for me to let something out is to just write it out. So...when I heard about this website, I figure I would try it out 'cause I really would like to hear other people's opinions of what they think about my poems. The poems that I write, I usuallly write about things that are sad, relate to life, heartache, and pain. I write poems that relate to these topics 'cause I experience those one moment to the next. I hope you enjoy reading my poems!!
