A special poet who will live on through her poetry

Christmastime is almost here upon us.and i can't wait.i'm not into all the christmas hype .i'm looking forward to christmas because last year i spent christmas in the hospital.one looks for christmas for the gifts and partys.but you don't know what it's like to be away from family and friends.to be in your own home with your husband and child or children.to spend christmas eve with all that are gathered together.to sit and look at your pretty tree and decorated house.to go to bed with visions of christmas morning.christmas dinner and all the fun stuff.all the hustle and bustle leaves us all tired and annoyed.but sit back and remember you have your health and a chance to be home for cristmas.one never knows what something is like till it is gone.cherrish the moments of christmas and not just the christmas hype.some folks don't know christmas like most of us do.some have no gifts no fancy things, christmas lights and all that jazz.so they don't have to worry about missing something they never had to begin with.cherrish christmas with family and friends.and be glad you can.

I know i'm babling but i'm trying to open your eyes to see what we are lucky to have.please remember that this christmas.put the true spirit of christmas in your heart and thoughts.look forward to being home.take care and don't forget to think with your heart.
merry Christmas to all and happy new year.

Hi Brenda-many thanks for your comments-my father-in-law John has to have dialysis too three times a week and it has been difficult for him-he is 78 and has just been diagnosed with throat cancer. I pray for him all the time and so does Phil my hub who worries for his dad very much.
We must try and keep strong mustn't we but it isn't easy is it.
    Blessings to you this night-
    Hilly xxx
