Beautiful Tragedy• Show poetry

My name's Kaitlin. I absolutely love writing poetry. it's a great way to escape from all the negativity in my life. It's also just a cool way to express myself and feelings on paper. I can only write if I'm really inspired because otherwise my poems just come out meaningless.
Sometimes my poems are about real experiences and other times a phrase that sounds cool will just come to me and i'll write a poem about it!


I LIKE: friends, hot guys, God, youth group, guitar, poetry, dancing, guys that play instruments, blue eyes, freckles, flowers, kissing, the beach, bikinis, movies, junk food, nail polish, make up, warm towels, rock music; (dashboard confessional Matchbook romance, Taking Back Sunday, relient k, fallout boy etc.), the process of falling in love, pictures, dogs, psychology, shopping, short skirts, sub sandwiches, bedtime stories, good lyrics, cell phones, talking, manicures/pedicures, mail, jewelry, flirting, good books, chick flicks (a walk to remember!), swimming, funny jokes, profound statements, CDs, birthdays and their presents, driving on a pretty street, thunderstorms, walking along the beach and smelling the air, marine life, big houses, little beach cottages, watches that click, getting compliments, great memories, playing loud music, pillow fights, lemonade, sporting events, being sneaky, the mall, pretty underwear, ripping split ends apart, fun new experiences, the way ice cream and chocolate cure PMS and heart ache, stickers, babies, being forgiven,walking/dancing in the rain, sitting on the roof, playing like a 7 year old in the creek, parties, caramel, diet soda, good memories, getting hit on when i'm single, jelly beans, inside jokes, holding hands, starbucks, playing with my hipbones, the way he makes me feel, being held onto, slow dances.

I DISLIKE: pop/rap music, mean people, those who feel the need to conform to society, eating jello or pudding with a metal spoon, bees, tape measures, homework, fighting with people i love, being pale, over priced clothing, being alone, those who have stupid reasons for hating others, being heart broken, being cheated on, causeing people cheat on their girlfriend, negative critisism (although it's necissary), airheaded chicks that think its cute, too small shoes, boring books or poetry, people who hold silly grudges, the word 'moist', getting blood drawn,  jokes about killing/cutting/suicide/anorexia etc., scary movies, being told no, braces and rubber bands, sad memories, sexists, racists.
