I read your comment about the contest and about the names of the three wise men. Its not in there, there is never any reference to even "three" they are just refeered to as "magi" tradfition ion the easten churches developedf the names that many churches use today.
now about the one million which holds some water,. The verse states that there were 600 000 able bodied men. Now able bodied back then is described as being between the age of 20-50, s basically we have 600 000 20-50 year olds. The answer of a million is hopelessly off what it shoudl be.scholars put the estimate above 2 1/2 million when working outf from that 600 000 how many woman, children and older men there should be. I was really going to poush the pint, but the girl who ran the contest is only 11.
