Hi fellow cat lover and poetess Nice to meet you. I received your IM, I'm always happy to meet another lover of those finicky, egotistical and ultimately wonderful creatures.

And hey, we even share our same names

Funpum I meant to say I often read Jabberwocky & other nonsens poems out to kids at school. I'll have to look out for more of yours. Babs Dee

Funpum, thanks for taking the time & effort to read and critique again. I had the cheek to include one of yours in my critique duties- of critiquing other's poems. I chose ONE of yours just to let you know I am reading yours and I do think at the naive level and appreciate making contact with someone like minded- though better poetically skilled. I like to escape from the hardness of the adult world by writing for children. I also have written songs for them- (I'm a muso too!) I find all this a nice little world to escape to for the moment of the writing or sharing it with others. Babs Dee.
(Sorry I didn't realise this guest book page was here or had messages to read, until just tonite.)

P.S. One of my proudest moments was finding I was in the 'nonsense' chapter of a book right next to Lewis Carroll's 'Jabberwocky'. Funpum
