My name is Mary, welcome to my author page and to my poetry.
I am a wife, a mother and the grandmother of three lovely grandchildren.

As you read my poetry you will get to know me and as we trade comments we will get to know each other. I like to write about life, the way I feel and Our Creator. I don't intend to push my religious beliefs on anyone and of course just as I am free to write and post things, you are free to read them or not. But I feel a need to share what I believe
and like Jeremiah, it is a burning inside me. Please, don't be rude to me because I hope I will never be rude to you.

I, like the Apostle Paul find myself in a curious position.
I want to be in the world but not of the world. Being an imperfect human however, I make mistakes ... so I write about that also. I want to be spiritual, but because I am also physical, I have wants, wishes, dreams and desires.
Some are in accord with the Scriptures; maybe some are not. I try to write about that struggle ... I hope if my beliefs are not the same as yours, that still, you will find something you enjoy.

I think poetry should not only be pleasing, but should make a person think, and feel something. Be it anger, joy,
peace ... but something. If I do that than my job is done.
