O'er the hills and O'er the Maine,
Through Flanders, Portugal, and Spain,
King George Commands and I Obey,
Over the hills and Far Away

- The "Richard Sharpe" theme song

All that glitters is not gold;
Often have you heard that told:
Many a man his life hath sold
But my outside to behold:
Gilded tombs do worms enfold.
Had you been as wise as bold,
Young in limbs, in judgment old,
Your answer had not been inscroll'd:
Fare you well; your suit is cold.

The Merchant Of Venice - Shakespeare

.....Well Here it goes, once again, i find myself re-writting this, (This has got to be about the fifteenth time) So, alright, here it goes. I have been on allpoetry for several years now, though only recently have i really done anything with my account. My favorite hobbies are reading and writing, and as of last december (2006) I am officially a published author!

Check out my book at: http://www.amazon.ca/Journeys-Clarianicca-Dragon-Cassidy-Scaglione/dp/1425102808/sr=8-1/qid=1171833694/ref=sr_1_1/701-9916712-1922756?ie=UTF8&s=books

.....When it comes to reading, writing, or poetry, my favorite Genre's are Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and History. I write about other stuff, but I loose interest in it faster. My favorite books are Lord Of The Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Richard Sharpe books by Bernard Cornwell, the Cadfael books by Ellis Peters, pretty much every play written by Shakespeare, The Three Muskateers by Alexander Dumas, and The Robe, by Lloyd C. Douglas, and The Blue Castle (which i've read about 25 times now) by L.M. Montgomery
.....My preferances carry over into television and the Cinima as well, my favorite movies being, Lord Of the Rings, The Three Musketeers, The Sharpe movie series, Serenity, Lost In Space, Willow, The Princess Bride, The Phantom of the Opera, and the Pirates of the Caribbean (one and two) - I also like the Rundown, Sahara, and other movies too however... As for television, I LOVE BATTLESTAR GALACTICA OH MY GOD! ahem, as well as Star Trek Next Generation, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine, I also like Heroes, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Criminal Minds, and Numb3rs.
.....As to my poetry, i prefer to write in Form poetry rather than Free Verse, and for the most part, like reading Form poetry over Free Verse. Of all the forms, my favorite, at the moment is the Ballad Form. So, if you have any poems in this form, you can message me and i can reveiw them for you! I warn you though, I enjoy, from time to time, writing in the persona's of BAD (Bad Ass Dragon), SARAH (Sometimes Annoying Romantic At Heart) and other imaginary "Personalities" of mine, though this only happens after two a.m. or so.
.....Normally i would put down a list of my favorite actors, but this time i'm not going to, if you want any details beyond what i've divulged you can message or email me.
.....To the matter of my writing, I only write Sci-Fi (short stories) and Fantasy (long stories) and have four (almost five) books fully written, though only one of them is published as of yet. I have an account on Storywrite under the same name, so you can look me up on there.
.....Anyways, I think i've said enough (As i'll prolly be re-writting it soon anyways, So... Hopefully you'll enjoy my poetry!

Here lieth now, Cassidy's list
the dearest of her Freaky Darlings
Kind enough to come to her
And sing as silver-throated starlings
Those she loves dearest and best
For giving her a most admirable read
A collective of high calibre
Set high above their poetic breed...

And with no further Adieu:

By Broad of Broad-and-Fair :
