I began writing poetry soon after my Mother passed away..21st of Feb,1991.
It has been such a blessing to be 'able' to write, to be able to express all those feelings that lay hidden down deep, to be able to reflect on circumstance, and gain an understanding.

I went out to the woods
because I wanted to live deliberatly
I wanted to live deep and suck out
all the marrow of life; and not when I came to die
discover that I had not lived

The heart cries out with wondering
The mind sees only what will be
and the soul is bound between the two
searching desperatly for understanding
~

He plays the music to which I dance
My soul is the harp on which he plays
My dreams, my hopes lend words to his music
And together we make a song
~

It takes so many complications in life
to really see what is quite simple
~

That which was will never be again
and that which will be, is something we dont know
But today we can understand and see
So live for today
becase maybe
just maybe
tomorrow may not be
~
