I suppose now that you've read through my quotes you're looking for a little information about me. everything that really matters is here, on this site. who I really am is contained here, if you'll just pay enough attention and learn how to connect the dots.

I am here mainly for poetry. I didn't join this site for social networking so I probably won't respond to you if that's all you're interested in. sure, I'll be social and answer most of my messages, but I'm not interested in just chatting with some random stranger on here who takes no interest in my life or my poetry. that's what myspace is for. that's not to say that I haven't met some amazing people on this site. I totally have. I'm just not interested in people who see my name on some forum or decide that my picture is hot or sexy or whatever and that's why they want to talk. If you ask me to "add you as a friend", chances are I won't unless I really do like your poetry.

my poetry isn't for everyone. it's usually personal unless it has been written for a quickie, and even then some of those relate to my life. it also tends to be very abstract and even disjointed at times. I am still growing as a writer and trying to find my voice as a poet. I do happen to be a teenager, so some of my writing will be cliche sometimes. I use writing as a way to express myself in a positive way instead of doing something self-destructive, and if writing about a cliche topic keeps me from doing something cliche, then by all means I will do it.

I am not an open person so don't get offended if I don't want to tell you every little detail of my life or explain why I exactly I wrote something. I rarely applaud poetry on here, so if I give you clappies you should feel quite honored. I will try to answer any question anyone asks, though. even if it's way random. I like random. xD

the Arabic phrase below means "daughter of the moon." I'm not of Middle Eastern descent; I just love the Arabic language.
