Hello reader(s) and thank you for taking the time to read something from this page. I'm orginally from Upstate NY and I enjoy writing more now than ever before. I started writing poetry a little over 2 years ago now. It has been a wonderful experience.

Ironically, I grew up with a dislike for poetry. Drawing/art was my first true love. And draw, I did - all the time (and I read a lot too). I drew comic book characters, cartoons, graffitti, still life...whatever came to mind (some of this I still do).  I have been mostly inspired by nature and by observing things and people around me (and lots and lots of wildlife stuff/shows).

Dear Poet

As you are, I hope you stay
Spreading word-ly inspiration
To brighten up another day

Words of wisdom interlaced
With meaning and rhyme
Smooth and done with taste

Your writing is lawless
Seamless like silken nylons
(Un)Controlled flow, flawless

Dear Poet

Keep the sweet words flowing
If for nothing more
Than the pursuit of growing

Planting seeds of stimulation
Without thoughts of self flattery
No egotistical inflammation

Dearest Poet

Please promise to strive
Never change your styles
And Keep the Muse alive
For, on You, She surely smiles
