As a young writer I chased after the dark themes of Edgar Allen Poe in my poetry, and thereafter I attempted to explore fantasy prose. High school led me to play guitar and write music and lyrics. Whenever following meter or time, I fall into iambs. These days, my poetry tends to reflect my spiritual understandings of life, though the delivery can vary from dreamlike to more visceral renderings of image and emotion, all these being a bit more free-verse-ish than their iambic predecessors. As always, I am hoping to catch a glimpse of the muse as she passes through my life each day.
