I love to read, it is a rare occurance that I am without a book (usually when I'm entering the bookstore). I have so many books, that I don't have enough room for shelves to put them all on. Mostly I like sci-fi/fantasy, but I also like books by autistic persons (Temple Grandin and Tito are two of my favorites).

I love American Sign Language, I am far from fluent, but I use it as a way of expressing my faith and ministering to others (non-verbal autistics).

I'm real into model rocketry, I prefer models from the Estes company, or those I build myself. My favorite model right now is the Estes Oracle, it shots video of what a launch looks like from the rocket's perspective that can be saved on a computer.

I am also a flautist (11 yrs) and now have a "crew" consisting of Draco (flute), Ki'lin (piccolo), Sidhe (fife), Benu (four-hole bamboo bass flute), Baku (Native American flute), and an as-yet-unnamed six-hole end-blown reed flute. For anyone wondering about the names, they are all mythical creatures from different languages. Brownie points (and maybe real ones, depends on how many I have) to anyone who can tell me what they all mean and the languages.

I live with my parents, brother and sister (both younger), two dogs (my siblings'), and a cat (mine). They are my life, I love them more than anything but God. I don't have many friends, but I like it that way, I'm quite close with the few I do have though. I tend to be a bit of a loner, due to the AS, but I wouldn't change it if I could.

I am Catholic. I tend to be fairly tolerating of other faiths, I may disaggree with your beliefs, but I won't tell you "that's wrong". I expect the same. I welcome a healthy debate, but slamming my God, faith, or beliefs will not be tolerated, doing so will earn you an automatic spot on my block/ignore list (it is currently empty, I would like to keep it that way).

I HATE WHITE!!! I find this color depressing. I also have a "strong dislike" of the color yellow.
