Araina• Show poetry

Hi and welcome to my page. By the way, it's Araina, not Ariana (pronounced A-RAY-NA). Everyone always calls me Ariana, which is wrong. Or you can just call me Rainy. Either one works.

I am currently working on revising my first novel, turning 2 stories into full-length novels, and writing 3 or 4 other stories. I flit from story to story depending on my mood. The one I'm posting on here, though, is Asher, Asher. This was started back when I was 15, although the version I'm posting on here is from memory. I've misplaced the version I wrote back then, so this is kind of new, kind of not.

People are constantly asking me about my job. Yes, I'm a proofreader, but I don't proofread anything interesting, unless certificates of insurance fascinate and stimulate you. If they do, I'm sorry. I'm sure there's support groups for that somewhere. I do have to check for grammar and spelling, so I am kind of a grammar/spelling stickler. I always try to provide some kind of constructive feedback whenever I read work on here. So, that's me in (or out) of a nutshell.

    Aw, Rainy, I just signed on to see the comment about me being one of the better poets on this site. That was something I needed to hear from someone, somewhere, somehow because I was in a funk and I was about to give up on poetry. I can't stop saying "Aww" now.

    I wish you were near to give you a big hug for that. You have revitalized my hopes!

    Also, you need to get AIM or something because I want to talk to you more often because you are easily one of my favoritest people on this earth (By the way, that's an honor because I'm picky about people). Exchanging messages once every month or two just doesn't do it for me, so something must be done about this problem!

    I hope you're doing well, amazing even. "Well" just isn't good enough for an amazing person like you.
