I am a 21 year old woman just graduating from my 3 year degree in English Language and Literature at King's College London. My ambition would be to become a lecturer in Victorian Gay Literature, to explore the settings in which these books were developed and the implications some of the words had. I'd also want to be published, perhaps not as a poet, but certainly as a writer.
My nationality is Norwegian and I grew up in Northern Norway, but moved to the UK in '05. I now live in Ealing and study at The Strand, although I am hopefully graduating in July.
I have also just been accepted into Birkbeck on the MA Victorian Studies, on the provision that I pass with a 2.2...Yes!
My poetic inspiration can be found in the things around me. I have a keen interest in Oscar Wilde, Wilfred Owen, Lord Byron, the Earl of Rochester, Shakespeare, Andre Bjerke and P.B. Shelley and admire their poetry immensely.
