Anger Inside
They see me for what I'm not
and look to me the way they shouldn't.
They believe my outer shell
and never venture deep inside.
What they see of me is cold
but the truth is hidden farther.
They never see the stress
that they have placed upon me.
I am not weak and will not cry
but that's not how they see me.
In their eyes I am nothing.
Another girl who intrudes their day.
So i will give them what they want
And leave them to themselves.
They think they cause me pain
when they ignore me blantantly.
But they'll never know my gratitude
as I let them walk away.
I do not lie, I don't pretend.
It's not my fault they're blind.
They'll never see how i can be.
