A wise woman once said to me: draw what you see, write what you know, and sing what you feel.
I'm not that good at drawing, but the two other pieces of advice have gone to my heart, and have stayed there.
When I write, whether it be one of my novellas, a short story, a poem or a song, I try to be true. My poems reflect what I was feeling when I wrote them. Sometimes, this gets me into some trouble. And yet, I try to be honest. For what is this world, if it does not have honesty?
I am the kind of girl no one really notices. The brainy kid at the back of the class, bullied for two years at my first school. Ran away from it all; moved to another school, another life. But eventually the memories and the pain caught up with me.
I admire my friends for sticking with me last year, which was in many ways hard for me. The scars have faded now, but the memories still bleed. I sometimes wonder if I'll ever be free.
I'm not a very happy person, but I like being alive, and I intend to stay that way for at least another day or two.
I could never live without books (mostly Fantasy), music (progressive rock, classical, symphonic metal and other such things) and my writing. I speak two languages fluently, am learning a third, and regularly rant off random sentences in at least another five obscure languages (Sindarin, anyone?)
If you want to meet a truly amazing person, and read some equally amazing poetry, check out my AP sister!! Vania, love you my darling, thanks for being one of my first friends in this strange place I've come to call my temporary home. Fellow emo-child, lover of great music and Lit friend, keep on being you, and contribute even more to the world with your smile and you talents!

So, yes, you can hold me down, beat me to the ground, but I'll never stop being honest.
