Angelica RoseShow poetry

A lot has changed with my life over the past year.

Theater is a big part of my life. I sparkle and shine when I'm in a play or musical.

I've graduated high school, since then I've started cosmotology school [involving hair, make-up, nails, skin care] as a pre-cursor to college. I plan to go to some university or conservatory. I want to study theater and vocal performance, and also psychology.

Sounds like a lot, huh? Well.. I figure at least one of those professions will work for me.

Since graduation, I've been involved in multiple stage productions, and have started audtioning for films. Hopefully things go well for me. A dear friend of mine and I are currently sharing an agent. Things are looking up.

My style of writing has changed a great deal. Less rhyming and meter. I'm much more free about my style nowadays. If you read my poetry religiously, you'll easily be able to notice the shift.

I'm a different person now. I've had different experiances in my life. Who can say if I've been changed for the better but, one thing is for sure. I've been changed for good.

I've also discovered a few new philosophies on life:

Everyone deserves a chance to fly. Dance through life. Dance loudly. Music must move. Paint pictures with words, and most importantly, there is no day but today.

Hi! I just wanted to come by and say thank you so much for the silver in your contest! Also I'd like to thank you for the use of the wonderful title. I have had many great comments on my poem. I would have never been able to write it if I had not seen your title. Those two words were just beautiful and helped me create my poem. I am going to leave your name in my comments box on it giving you full credit for the title if that's okay. I don't think I would have ever thought of using those two words together. If you ever think of something else you think would make a good title that you don't want to use, let me know! You have a wonderful talent of putting words together that seem to inspire me. Thank you so much, again!
