Who Am I?
My name is Sarah. I am a 22 yrs old Woman (August 10th, 1987) from Kuwait, which is a tiny country in the middle east. I always had these thoughts in my head, feelings and emotions that want to go out; the thing is i never learned how to express myself properly. I started writing as a way to pass boring classes in school around 10 yrs ago maybe despite the difficulties I had regarding the language I would write in. English is my second language, yet it was easier for me to write in it than in Arabic. The grammar in Arabic kills me every time. it is THAT difficult
As I carried on writing, I realized that I have found the perfect way of expression in it. I am no poet. Poetry will never be a full-time job or anything. I just have a thought and out it goes. I like some of it and I hate some. I have a muse who loves her beauty-sleep and sometimes she goes into a coma
You can say I am a regular person who sometimes write.
My poems?
Some are personal, some are not. As with some people, I write when I feel emotional. I sometimes get depressed, writing is my anti-depressant of choice. I rarely edit what I write; I just correct grammar and spelling mistakes, if I had any. Every word, and every line mean something to me. They are like having kids. You don't hate them if they aren't perfect.
Now:
I am a pharmacy student with interests in philosophy, psychology, and Greek mythology. My hobbies include reading (#1), writing, watching movies, hanging out with friends, chatting, crochet, and collecting earrings. LOL. I don't know what to write
Music:
I was around 12 when BSB released their first album, Backstreet's Back. It was the first english music I bothered buying and listening 2. Ever since then, I moved through rap, pop, rock, old stuff, NEVER R&B <-- I hated it and still do. 5-6 years ago I settled into Classical music, vocals, operas, and country; however, I still listen to some of my older favorites. My musical playlists include Il Divo, Beethoven, Mozart, Josh Groban, Pavarotti, Rhydian Roberts, Sarah brightman, Andrea Bocelli, P!nk, Westlife, Backstreet boys, and a few country singers.
Movies:
I'll watch anything and everything. I'd hate to have to watch movies that are based on books/stories that I read. They ALWAYS suck. I have to admit to loving the BBC adaptations of the Classical Stories. My fav. is North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell I can watch it a million time and never get bored.
Reading list:
Elizabeth Gaskell, Charles Dickens, Ernest Hemingway, Jodi Picoult, J. D. Robb, Nora Roberts, Amanda Quick, Paulo Coelho, and others.
My AP family: (I am in the process of building it up. If you are interested, Let me know)
Younger sister: ChangeOfHeart (http://allpoetry.com/changeofheart)
Daughter: Rayvn Reaper (http://allpoetry.com/Rayvn%20Reaper)
So, if you have a question, my email is down. Feel free to ask me anything you want, after all, it is the fastest way you're gonna get to know me and I don't get offended easily, especially when It's sth I can choose to ignore
Enjoy...

I was told recently that: Because I am muslim, it is safe to assume that I am illiterate. Because I am an arab, I live in a tent in the desert. Because I am a woman, it is safe to assume that I was forced to marry when I was 20. Because of all the above, Life isn't fair to me. 1 Why do people assume that I amOctober 26, In Contemplative, First person, Life, My own personal thoughts, Personal, Random. 300 words. → 2 comments, Add one?

I've always heard that disaster comes in 3s. Within 4 months of my great grandma's death, my mother and my uncle died. After than, My great uncle died, and within 6 month, his daughter and grandson died. I know some might say that these deaths shouldn't affect me, but we are close to our relatives. 1 Yesterday,September 24, 200 words. → 1 comment, Add one?
