Alriiight, I'm Angela, nice to "meet" you, live in England, In Brighton when at Uni and in Surrey when at home.
I've liked writing for ages, then when I was 15 I turned a bit Emo and started using poetry to express my innermost feelings cause, you know, all teenagers that enjoy trying to be creative are convinced theyre so much more "deep" than the adults. Although I look back on my old poems and laugh (before taking out all the excrutiating self pity) I have to say, a lot of what I wrote back then was the starting point for some writing I'm genuinly proud of. I'm nowhere near good enough yet, but you live and learn and I'm still young, doing an undergrad english degree, so I'm now strongly considering being a "serious writer" at some point in the future, as it's pretty much the only thing I have any slight talent at!
I do short stories as well, just read one out for ShortFuseStories in the studio bar at Komedia (this entertainment centre thing in Brighton.) Sounds like a bigger deal than it was! They upload selected stories to a site, so when I know the URL I'll write it here. And if I find a site I like where I can upload all the other little ones, I'll probably post that link here too; so if you're an experienced writer, give me constructive critisism. Be gentle though, I'm a n00b who likes to learn but I can sometimes get a little defensive!
One more thing... I like to Vlog. You know, video accounts of day to day life. I wouldn't say I'm great at it but if you're having a down day and need somebody to laugh at, all my Vlogs thus far can be found on Youtube... My username is MadGoose5. The reason for that odd choice of name is a long story, and I'm pretty sure it's somewhere on one of my videos if you really need to know.
