Why I write poetry?
It is a desire to bring lasting joy to the world, something that will extend beyond the moment I express it, beyond the memory of those who witness it at the time. The words I write are the words of my soul, I speak the truth as I know it from the love of my heart. I believe we are made in the image of God through Christ, God is my inspiration, God is my love. I feel my words will always echo in the hearts of those who read them, and I hope they help to awaken the children of God to the treasures that lay waiting to be discovered within them and all around them.
All the poems I create, are free to be shared with anyone.
You may put them in books, do with them what you wish.
All I ask is that you credit them to me.
My name is Andrew Scrivener.
I desire no payment for the use of my work, your expression of appreciation means much.
