Hi everyone and welcome to my page here all AllPoetry! Please read the few words below about me and feel free to drop me a note anytime you want to!

What am I doing here? Well, I guess I discovered I could write better than the average guy about 10 years ago, but I was smart enough to know that while God in His wisdom had granted me a certain amount of talent, it was totally clear that I was no genius, but just someone who had an edge on a few people.

So what I write is a way of saying "Thank you" to God for having given me this gift. This is not to say that most of the poems I write are about God and religion. Sure I believe in God but I don't go a whole bundle on organized religion - my opinion is that there is a little piece of God in all of us and that the organized religions have maybe gotten it wrong with too much emphasis on dogma and ceremony. But that's just my opinion and you are entitled to yours or to not believe in God at all. I sure dont want to push my opinions down anyones throat!

I have seen and experienced a lot of sadness, cruelty and hardship in the course of my life, and at the moment I am a bit low, and have been in and out of hospital with some problems which I wont bore you with right now but things are looking up for me now I hope and somehow I am looking for a better future for myself and my family who have supported me so much. In spite of all my numerous misfortunes, I hope I am not too jaded and disenchanted by the follies of mankind in this "olde" world of ours, which I believe is just on loan from God, by the way.

I hope sincerely that what I write will - in some little way - help others through the bad times which are thrown at us by Life. Maybe holding out a branch of hope to my fellow man will help heal other's pain and make it all worthwhile in the end.

Some of my cynical friends would laugh loud and long if they knew I wrote poetry. They think thats only for nerds and losers. But it helps me to forget the dark days and the lonely nights. But lets hope theres some light at the end of the proverbial tunnel!
