Hello. You don't know me; unless, of course, I already know you. The profile here isn't too long, for my actual one is on Storywrite. I haven't really been active on here since July, but I'm here now, so expect some writings.
I'm a homeschooled sophmore, who takes part-time classes at the local community college where I'm taking courses in writing and mythology. I've been writing for about a year and a half now.
My name's Andrew (obviously), and it really annoys me. It just so happens that there are at least four other "Andrew"s in my homeschool group (basically a mixed-up normal highschool--we have everything that public schools have, but with not as many cliques).
My written poems are usually story-like. However, they may be vaguely apparent, or obvious. The poems switch between rhyming and unrhyming, and I try to keep them structred because, frankly, I can't stand poetry without form. And I really don't like cut-off lines and thoughts either...
Please, feel free to read anything posted here. I'd love to hear your opinions.

"My day is a day. Though it may seem simple, there's so many things that can happen. You can scream, you can laugh... you can throw plastic toys at those who annoy you."
12/1/07
"Run. Run through your life until you can't anymore. And when that finally happens, walk, limp, crawl--move forward and don't look to the sides."
1/9/08
"Breaks are nice as long as you don't have to go on vacation."
2/1/08
"Silence the mind of the writer. It's too emotional."
2/17/08
"If a tree is seen from two different positions, then it is, in fact, two trees."
4/3/08
"Even in solitude, you can't be left alone."

My favorite poets are Edgar Allan Poe and Robert Frost.

sca on October 3, 2007I like your poetry - you've got a natural sense of meter and flow - how-ever please just leave the description blank as opposed to having the symbols. Gives the impression you'd expect much cheaper words.
