Ahhh, so many memories in these here web pages...
(404 NOSTALGIC MEMORY NOT FOUND)
Hm. Well, anyway.
For those of you having trouble remembering who in the nine hells I am, here are some names I used to go by:
Jaz (still in use to this day)
Twiggy (obsolete)
The Don-a (...I plead the fifth!)
AnotherDay, LittleWhiteLies, Lionlover (misspelled in that atrocious internet trend fashion, 'luver'), and hell knows what else.
For some reason, AP pages always have lists. Conformity, here I come~
Interests:
Music. (There's too much out there waiting to be heard to isolate myself to one or two genres.)
Cooking & Baking. (I love cooking, and I love feeding people I care about.)
Books. (Self-proclaimed bibliophile, here.)
Movies. (I wanted to go into cinematography for a long time...but I think I'll stick to cinematic appreciation, instead.)
Plays. (Watching them. It's just fun...it makes you want to go up there and give it a shot.)
Acting. (While we're on the subject, I want to act. I'm cripplingly shy, but it's always been a dream of mine to play as a bat-shit insane woman. Yesss.)
Dance. (Again, I've always wanted to dance, I've just been too shy to get started. Pardon my French, but Fuck That. You have to go for what you want as soon as you can, as soon as it crosses your mind, because the next second may never come.)
Writing. (Do I even have to put that here? It should go without saying. I'm mostly into the practicing-through-fan-fiction and original poetry writing, at the moment. Writing something from my heart gives me a high not much else can compare with.)
Weaving. (Bet you weren't expecting that, eh?)
Art. (Always. I'm trying to get better in my own art, mostly sketching and realism, and I've quit beating myself up for not being able to pull off a drawing right away. I do it for fun and for the sake of drawing something. I don't have to be perfect, but I'm always looking to improve.)
Photography. (I adore it. I'm too shy to bust out a camera in public, though, so my street photography dreams depend entirely on me growing a pair, metaphorically speaking of course...)
Literature. (Of course.)
Philosophy. (Dig it.)
Psychology. (Dig it.)
History. (Excavate it.)
World religions and cultures. (Dig it.)
Violin. (In skilled hands this instrument is more soul piercing and emotive than any human's voice. Is there a sexier instrument on this planet? I think not.)
Piano. (A CHALLENGER APPEARS. It's a tie, actually...Violin and piano...)
Harmonica. (Hey, hey...it's plenty sexy! I like harmonicas for lullabies...)
Saxophone. (More like SEXophone, murhurhurhur.)
My friends voices. (Ding! We have a winner~)
~Favorite Time~
Favorite Quote: (I'm a quote pack-rat, but here's one that seems relevant.) "If you were waiting for the opportune moment....that was it."
Food: Tiramisu. No contest. Best stuff Ever.
Drink: Juice boxes
Alcoholic Beverage: Whiskey, vodka, rum. (Limeade isn't complete without the whiskey burn.)
Time of Day: That late-early time when everything, even the colors, seems to still be sleeping. (As an insomniac, I get to see a lot of it.)
Season: Fall/Autumn. Not freeze-your-ass-off weather, but still chilly enough to be comfortable in sweaters. In some areas, the trees are lovely at that time, too.
Composer: VIVALDI. Beethoven...no, Tchaikovsky! D; I can't decide.
Musician: TRENT RRRRRRRREZNOR. <3 And Maynard. And Tom Waits. And Jeff Buckley. And the man from Bad Religion whose name escapes me...UM...well, there's a lot of favorites. I will always regret not seeing Trent Reznor live though. DON'T ASSUME YOU HAVE TIME, GO OUT AND DO EVERYTHING YOU WOULD REGRET NOT DOING, RIGHT THIS INSTANT.
...*procrastinates*
Actor(S): Alan Rickman. Adrien Brody. Anthony Hopkins. Robin Williams. Jim Carey. Michael Clarke Duncan. Brendan Fraiser. Hugh Laurie.
Actress(S): Emily Browning, Ellen Degeneres, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Carpenter.
Director(s): I seem to be digging a lot of things that Roman Polanski had something to do with.
Writer(s): Oh, it's hopeless. There's so many. I'm a bibliophile, remember? I'm nowhere near as well read as I want to be, and I doubt I ever will be. There's the tragedy of this ephemeral life- not enough time to read everything worth reading.
I'm tired of this. I was really just doing it to keep myself awake. I'm awake now, though. Time to go do something productive before the world explodes.
