My name is Amberlynn, and writing is my outlet. My style is very personal; I write about serious issues in a way that makes people think.
I usually will write in the 1st person, even if i have never experienced the theme of my poem. I put myself in thier shoes and write from my soul. I feel that it leaves more of an impact, not only on my readers, but also myself. With every poem I write, I learn more about myself, and grow.
And as for me as a person... Im a perky lovable girl, but I also have a dark side to me. When I was younger I went through 2 years of depression, it was something that was very difficult to escape, but one day I did wake up. I dropped out of high school when I was 17, and I regret it. But Im 22 now and Im just trying to get my life together now and make the best of things. I find inspiration in my everyday life, and I can't help but write it all down! Anyways, thats a little bit about me!
