I really dislike explaining my poetry. I think the best thing about this kind of expression is that it can be interpretated so differently depending on the person reading it. It's universal. Everyone will take from it what they need. The release I feel when I put pen to paper is unparallel to any other sort of high you can get. Each poem is an story from my life - a documentation of this experience that we're all sharing. I hope you as a reader are touched by some universal truth written here. I hope the feeling I so delight from will enhabit you whether reading mine or writing of your own experiences. Thanks for sharing this journey with me!

astralshepherd : Read this poet on September 26, 2007You know, there are tons of writers here at Allpoetry.com, tons. Some good, some great, some just trying to figure out where the next line goes. This poet exhibits a uniqueness which I find very refreshing, the voice of one willing to express the heart – openly and honestly. Within her searching, we can see much of our own lives mirrored here.
