And still there's a sadness
That lies in your heart
For a dog that was lost
And a love now apart.--Anonymous
Welcome to my world, I’m not entirely sure what I mean, but it seemed appropriate. I used to only write poetry when I was sad or depressed over something, but recently, I have found that I can write poetry about any situation in my life.
Lots of things have affected me emotionally recently, i find that i can write a peice in anger or saddness really easily but when i read back over it, it never seems the same. So a poem or piece of writing done in the heat of a strong emotion may not make sense to you.
I love music, rock mainly, but I’m open to anything that sounds good. Recently i hav found that acoustic music helps me to relax after a long day, I don’t quite understand why.
I love to read, big fan of reading, just recently I was forced to read ‘Jane Eyre’ by Charlotte Bronte. If you haven’t read it, READ IT NOW!! It's a truely fantstic book, it covers everything: True love, self confidence, social classes and the all important decision between good and evil.
Pride and Pejudice is the most amazing book ever written - any book written that long ago that can still affect every teenage girl who reads it in 2005 must be perfection. (Also the BBC dramatisation helped! if you know wot i mean) *cough* colin firth *cough*
My non-ap freinds that help me and inspire me i treasure more than anything: Tom K, Jason, Dan and Tom R. I feel Dan needs an even bigger metion here, because I love him so much.
Hope you enjoy my work!

A *SONG* for you:
Slippin’ into a dream in the mornin’
Driftin’ out into space
In my head there’s a telephone ringin’
In some other place
Guess I oughta be running round town now
Like I do everyday
But there’s no way at all that I’ll be moving
Not today, so let them wait
Cos I know that here in your arms I feel secure
And I just wanna stay
With you, let all of the world go by outside
‘Till the end of the day
Cos the only thing I want is to rest here in your arms
Could be snowing outside for all I care
Could be a hurricane
We got time to be worrin’ bout the weather
So here I’ll stay if it’s all the same
Cos I know that here in your arms I feel secure
And I just wanna stay
With you, let all of the world go by outside
Till the end of the day
Cos the only thing I want is to rest here in your arms
There aint no where on earth I would rather be
Then here with you
Can’t think of a thing I would rather do
Then to waste my time with you
Cos I know that here in your arms I feel secure
And I just wanna stay
With you, let all of the world go by outside
Till the end of the day
I just wanna be with you
Everyday
Where I’ll stay
Cos the only thing I want is to rest here in your arms
That lies in your heart
For a dog that was lost
