Me

What can I say about this guy?

He writes, he tells bad jokes and

is responsible for all this nonsense.

My Daughter

This is my daughter who writes

under the name roses on fire.

She is a great kid and a fine poet!

She says:

“You may know him as your teacher, as a poet,

or you may know him as a giant butt,

but I know him as “dad” and I love him.”

My Girlfriend

This is Lauren. She has to be the most

maddeningly capricious woman alive!

She lives on the right side of the page.

She says:

"I know your deepest darkest secrets...

I know how spiteful and wimpishly girlish

you can be... I know how manipulating

and devious you can be... and I know

that you lie like it's a survival technique,

but I am crazy about you, you son of a bitch!"

"Allan is the single most perplexing man I have never met.
His poetry can make you laugh, cry, gasp, sigh, and sometimes,

throughly piss you off, just like he can do in AP life. I think

he is an asshole, a wonderful councilor, a great friend, a manipulator,

devious, funny, kind, loving, and will deny a lie to the death. I will

always love Allan f~~king Emery, He has helped me to find

out who I am, and to become a better person, to forgive and

love myself, and has hurt me so many times I can't count them all,

"Allan of the Harp is the kind of bloke who asks you for quotes

for his author page. I mean - what the hell can you say to that?

Look what happens, I set out to say nothing at all

(as such a request richly deserves) and end up saying a bundle...

Allan - by turns - annoys me, makes me laugh until it hurts,

depresses me, and delights me. His worst poetry makes me

wonder why he bothers getting up in the morning; his best poetry

is incredible. Some of the things he says to me... well... I would

put a lesser man on permanent block for. It says something about his worth

that I don't. At the end of the day, I would trust him with my wallet."
