My name is Alisha Smith and I have been writing since I could pick up a pen. I have told stories since I could talk, to the amusement of my family. My mother has kept all of my stories and poems from the moment I began and it has helped me grow as a writer over the years. I have just recently begun writing poetry , but I still see it as writing a story...only a little more complicated. The majority of my poems tend to be funny (making fun of my friends), but I have some heartfelt ones as well. I hope to one day publish some of my work and be just a quarter as beloved as J.K. Rowling.I have an amazing family; I live with my younger brother and my mom in Tennesse and we get along pretty well. I am a Freshman in college at ETSU, my major is Occupational Therapy; I will probably be changing my major to Anthropology.
