My name is Courtney, but a few of my close friends call me Coco. I am an author, although I haven't finished my first book, I'm working on it. ^_^ Victor Hugo is my favorite author ever, although Mercedes Lackey and Michael Crichton are also amazing. My favorite fictional characters are definitely Frollo, Jean Valjean, Quasimodo, Gringoire, (basically, all Victor Hugo's characters MINUS Pheobus, who deserves a slow and painful death for being a pig), Heathcliff, Vanyel Ashkevron, Jimmy, Snape, and others...

I'm a Cancer, with a Capricorn moon and Aries ascendant. I've been studying astrology since 7th grade, so if anyone's interested, I'd love to discuss it with you. ^_^ My favorite traditional sign is Scorpio because... well, let's just say that I don't see any of their "negative" traits as actually negative... possessiveness and such wouldn't bother me as far as I know. It does seem that I'm actually more attracted to air signs, however; my fiance is an Aquarius with moon conjunct sun and Scorpio Ascendant. ^_^ Plus, Weird Al's a Libra... I LOVE Weird Al, he is my favorite singer in the world and I really want to meet Suzanne and Nina one day, too. I met Al on my 17th birthday and I think he'd recognize me now 'cause he recognized me at the two concerts I attended after we met. Voltaire is my second favorite singer, though; he's amazing, too.

I love travelling! So far, I've been to Canada, parts of middle America, London, Italy, Turkey, and Greece. I want to see more places, including Paris JUST for Victor Hugo; I want to visit his grave and pay my respects, plus one of my stories is going to be set there so I need to be familiar with my surroundings. That's one reason for travelling; I love learning about different cultures and I'd like to write stories based upon what I know. Greece actually disappointed me... I was expecting the wonders of the Ancients and, alas, they were nothing like what I imagined. They all spoke English, first of all, so when I tried learning Greek they'd just answer in English; only one person thought it was cool that I was trying to learn Greek. When we were in Turkey, my favorite place by far, however, the locals were actually helping me learn! Merhaba, and... thank you; I don't remember it right now, but if I looked it up, I'd know it because they taught me a memory trick for it. ^_^ Plus, I felt really pretty in Turkey 'cause... well, my sister was in a shop and I went in to get her so we could move on and the guy in there stared at me as soon as he saw me, then said I was gorgeous and held out his hand; I thought he was going to shake it, but he kissed my hand whilst staring at me... lol, then he followed me outside and asked to talk to me; he told me he'd fallen in love with me. If that doesn't make you feel beautiful, what will?? It was kind of sad, though, letting down so many people... there were many incidents, all of them very ego-boosting. ^_~ I wouldn't mind living there, actually.

I LOVE reading! I just read The Princess Diaries, which is much better than it sounds, but perhaps the reason I like it so much is the comedy, romance (kind of) and the fact that I was also a freshman in love with a Senior...but she had more luck than I did. "Luna" is also a really good book, and so's anything that Mercedes Lackey writes. (Her songs are AWESOME!!!) Anyway, I LOVE BYRONIC HEROS! I think Lord Byron is completely wonderful and my fave poem by him (so far) is "To a Beautiful Quaker" because it is SO TRUE!!! Who needs words when you have eyes?! Also, "Scorpio Silence is Golden" is another good poem, but it's not AS good in my opinion.

I love Disney movies, especially the songs. My favorite Disney songs are:
"Let Me Be Your Wings" ~Thumbalina
"Hellfire" ~ Hunchback of Notre Dame (I LOVE the songs, and Frollo,
even if he's kind of evil...)
"Whole New World" ~Aladdin <--one of my all time favorites
"Am I feeling Love?"~Thief and the Cobbler (I don't think it's Disney)
"Won't Say I'm in Love" ~Hercules
"I can Go the Distance" ~Hercules
"Out There" ~Hunchback of Notre Dame
"What's Around the Riverbend" ~Pocahontas
"Two Worlds, One Family" ~Tarzan
"If I Never Knew You" ~ Pocahontas

Some of my other favorite songs are:
"Meetings" ~Mercedes Lackey
"Shadow-Lover" ~Mercedes Lackey
"For Talia" ~Mercedes Lackey
"Hawkbrother" ~(guess who?) Mercedes Lackey
"Music of the Night" ~PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! ^_^
"Past the Point of No Return" ~Phantom of the Opera again.
"Hero" ~some guy
"Not Gonna Get Us" ~TATU
"One Winged Angel" ~FFVII Soundtrack
"Just Like Jesse James" ~Cher
"Dahn Dahn" ~Buck Tick
"Send Me an Angel" ~Scorpions
"Imaginary" and "Taking Over Me" ~Evanescence
"Numb" ~Linkin Park
"Drown" ~Three Days Grace
"Only When I Sleep" ~The Corrs
"Somebody for Someone" ~The Corrs
"DAME" ~Rurouni Kenshin DVD
"My Way" ~That Guy with the Really Nice Voice
"The Voice" ~Eimear Quinn
"All About the Pentiums" ~Weird Al (I love ALL his songs, though;
don't worry, I won't list them all. ^_~)

Tim Burton also interests me (I love Beetle Juice and Edward Scissorhands! I also love the song "What's This?" from Nightmare before Christmas"), as well as Linda Goodman, whose books are my main well of information for my astrology practices and metaphysical studies. I actually heard her voice on this website:

I am looking forward to 2012 because it will be the beginning of the fifth Mayan world, the age of Enlightenment; at the moment, we're transitioning from the fourth world (materialism) to the fifth (spiritualism). Yes, I think the axis will shift abruptly and Atlantis will rise, but we won't find out for several years so I'd rather wait than argue about it. ^_^

I believe in reincarnation and I have remembered several past lives thus far.

Know why there's usually a circle around Jesus' or the saints' heads? That's an aura; there are different kinds of auras, and the most visible one is the aura that encompasses the head, which contains the mind and third eye.

Know why in Jane Eyre, which was written in the 1800s, there is an examble of clairaudience? Because it's not a new concept, and it is real. There were obviously cases of it back then, or she would not have written about it.

What's most interested me lately is the concept of soul mates and the twin soul. Every human with a living body has cells that vibrate constantly, and everyone has a different frequency; except for twin souls. Everyone has a twin soul, only one, who vibrates on the same frequency as him or her. However, there are many others whose soul notes (vibrations) are very similar; these people are one's soul mates. It's an interesting concept, and I'm learning about it now.

I am engaged to my darling Jonathan, whom I kind of stalked for a year whilst he kind of stalked me a little bit; we were too shy to talk to each other and finally I just decided I wanted a chance 'cause my feelings for him were quite strong from nothing more than eye contact, so I sent him a graduation card offering to write to him while he was in the military. So, he wrote back, and I wrote back... my letter came back a month later, returned, and he got a few I guess... but I didn't hear from him again, so I thought he just wasn't interested or that he'd found some girl in the army with him, so I decided to date one of my friends whom I had some feelings for at the time. I felt guilty after about two weeks because I kept thinking of Jonathan, even though he obviously had no interest in me... so we broke up and I became even more determined to hear from Jonathan, so I used his birthday as an excuse to write to him again after getting his address, and he wrote back, and we wrote from then on until we saw each other in May and had our first date. It was weird 'cause he bought me a Build-a-Bear and I'd sworn that I'd never get one unless it was from a guy I really cared about who took me there on a date. (My sister and her friend bought them for themselves and I was with them, watching all the couples buying them, and it was depressing and sad to buy one for yourself, I thought.) He did that without knowing any of that, though... then I thought we were going to be nothing more than friends because AGAIN he didn't seem interested in me, but he wrote to me and told me he was in love with me, so... here we are! ^_^ We've been engaged since November 2007 and we will get married either in May 2009 or after massage therapy school, if my parents agree to send me there first. I love him, and I miss him, 'cause it's still a long distance relationship... I haven't seen him for a month now. Grr.

My adoptive brother is John, aka Slade, and he's awesome! I just wanted to mention him because he's really helped me out a lot and he's very wise, especially for still being in his early twenties. Much love to you, and I hope you're always safe and know that you're always loved and appreciated!

My other adopted brother is Rurouni Justin, AKA Boogey-kun, and he's in the same state I am right now so I might be meeting him soon. lol, he's hyper and possibly crazy, but he always makes me laugh! ^_^

Also, I'll finally be meeting my friend Sean this December; we've been internet friends for six or so years now and Jonathan and I are taking a road trip to see him after visiting my Grandpa.

Also, KissMe-KillMe is my soul sister, Kayley Aisling. We're both the authors of Irish Idiots and we're the main characters in it. ^_^;; Speaking of which, we're working on the next chapter...I know you'll love it though! You're introduced to a few new characters in it. ^_^ You'll LOVE it! It's a romantic comedy fanfiction of Lord of the Rings...just trust me. I'm also trying to work on another chapter for Kalli.

TheBrokenDoll is also one of my friends, and so is Balmung. Christy, however, stole my nickname! Cry is Latin/Greek for "Cold/Freezing" and I figured that suited me, but I guess you can use it Christy. ^_^ I'll just use it when I go to college. Say hi to Pippin for me and tell him about veggie chips! They're not as good as the soy chips, but they're still good! (Yes, I am into all that newish age stuff...)

Also, shout out to AstrologsPoet/DarkHorseMan, who is also awesome! He's a wonderful poet and a wonderful astrologer; I fully recomend that you read his poems!

To all my other friends, I love you! Be safe, and I hope you get what you want out of life! Remember, dreams do come true otherwise God would not entice us to have them.

That is all for now! Peace out, I love you, Buh~Bye!

Abe Lincoln ROCKS!!! VOOT!

Live Long and Prosper, as Spoc would say. (Do NOT ask: my mum's a Trekkie and she got me and Ash (my little sister) to watch the movies with her. Spoc's actually pretty kool!

My friend, Thor *and in heaven they watch 24 are not responsible for any IQ points lost), wrote a short poem: (his blog is HicksonWeb.blogspot.com; GO THERE!!!)

If you knew me for one day,
You would know that I'm not gay.

GO THOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^
