In life I have been many things... A Father, Husband, Lover,
but in my very heart I will always be
A Soldier...
I have worn the uniform with Honour...
I have done many things throughout my life, some I am proud of while others I am not, but that is life.... I have tried to put the needs of others before my own...
I am not the greatest writer or poet, but I try and strive to better my writing style. I have been blessed by a couple of very important and special people in my life, who have encouraaged me to write.
Kris, my oldest and dearest friend has truly blessed my life and encouraged me to write poetry. Pam and Jan,told me to write poetry and follow my heart in ways I never even knew. I only wish to honour each of them by continuing to write from the depths of my heart and with the inspiration they have given me over many years.
I have met a very dear friend who is like a sister to me - Lily otv. She has also encouraged me and helped me in so many ways I cannot even count. She also made this background for me.
To all of you who have read my work and supported me through everything I would like to offer you my heartfelt thanks. What you say and think means a great deal to me.
