My Name is Aimee and I am 30 years old. I am happily married to Ted, who is the most wonderful man in the world. We have a 4 year old boston / fox terrier mix named Moe. He is our BABY!!! We live in Michigan, where the winters are too long, the summers are too hot, the Autumn is the most beautiful in the world, but FAR too short and where the spring time leaves a lot to be desired. (I want a spring time like Holland has).
I am Wiccan and extremely devoted to my Goddess. I appreciate ALL religions and do not descriminate against people because of the Faith they choose. I NEVER push my religion on anyone. EVER! I have recently discovered Buddhism. (Not that I had never heard of it or anything, but now I know more about it) I have discovered that Buddhism may just be what I need to be a more positive person and a less worrysome person as well. (if there is such a word).
I am peaceful and I believe that everyone has a right to be who they are as long as they are not infringing on the rights of anyone else. I am very into helping those who need it, but not by enabling poor decisions or behaviors. I have made that mistake before. I believe in giving everyone 1 chance. After that, you have to earn another.
I believe that there are far better ways to resolve conflict than violence. I believe in INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
I am a very emotional person who enjoys the best in life and suffers with the worst of it too. I tend to let my "friends" walk all over me and can not seem to tell them "no" at any time. I get depressed very easily and it takes me a long time to get out of these depressive states. I have Bipolar Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.
I am a writer without any talent. I thought I did for a long time, but a few years ago, I realized that I am no good at it. I go through long bouts of writers block only to break it with some crappy poem or story every now and then.
I can be a good friend, but I also have been known to lash out to those closest to me. It's a rarity, and you really have to piss me off, but it has happened. I am very caring; sometimes too caring.
I am completely in love with Ted, and nothing can ever change that.
I'd love to major in forensic psychology, but I have no financial way of ever realizing that goal. (Not to mention I am horrible at science.
I sing, but not very well.
In life, there are many things which I hold in high esteem. One of these things is friendship. To me, friendship is one of the most sacred things that one can possess, as well as one of the most sacred things I can give. It is not often that one will find a soul with whom they can bond, a person to whom they can tell their deepest darkest secrets with no fear of rejection, an existence with which they can share all that is within, the one who finds such a friendship has found a treasure that is comparable to none.
I drown myself in music any chance I get. Without music, I would cease to live. Music is my life. I listen to A LOT of different types of music. I mostly listen to:
Evanescence, Nirvana, Ben Folds 5, Trapt, Beethoven, Chopin, Bach, Jim Brickman, Simon & Garfunkle, Cat Stevens, Don McClean, Sublime, Broadway Music, Dave Matthews, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, John Lennon, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Butterfly Boucher, Sarah McLachlan, Secret Garden, Alkaline Trio, VNV Nation, Lacuna Coil, Bare Naked Ladies, Death Cab For Cutie, Straylight Run and The Dresden Dolls.
Poetry is very important to me. Like I said, I have no real talent, but it helps me out in my life. I write poetry, I read poetry and I try to discover new poets whenever I can. I also like to write short stories, but I rarely finish one. I have the ideas in my head but usually can not get them from brain to pen to paper.
I love to read, but I rarely read as much as I should. I love horror and true crime the most, but I read almost anything. I don't like romance personally, but I have a lot of friends who do. Some of my favorite authors are VC Andrews, Dean Koontz, John Saul, Ira Levin, Anne Rice, and Janet Fitch.
I love to cook. I love to gather my friends together at my home and play board games, eat a big dinner then watch movies. I love to learn new recipes and then modify them to my own taste if neccesary.
I journal a lot. I am a very emotional person and I have to get how I feel out on paper or I feel like I will explode.
I love to take pictures. I love photography, as I love writing, because I love life. Through photography I try to observe and describe life, through writing I try to understand life.
I love haunted and abandoned buildings. I love to visit them and research them. I especially love the history of asylums and places where groups of people lived and where families thrived. There is so much energy in those places.
Intelligence. I am rather intelligent and like to have the people I associate with be intelligent as well. I don't mean that you have to be the smartest person in the world, I give everyone a chance. But I can not handle people who are stupid. There is a HUGE difference between ignorance and sheer stupidity. I can tolerate some ignorance, (SOME) but stupidity is absolutely not tolerable.
Honesty is a must. I am absolutely honest and I expect those around me to be the same. If I have pepper in my teeth, tell me. If my outfit is hideous, tell me. If I become rude or overbearing, Tell me. I would do the same for you.
Well, That's me...

I fight for every last word that I write down. I fight to gather fractured sentences and I fight constant writers block. I fight dying pens and crinkled paper and “H” keys that never want to work. I fight rules and busyness t0 lines, June 11, 2008. In writing, writers block

You waltz into town in your camouflage clothing, holier than thou, taking charge like you actually give a damn. Months go by and you don’t call your dad and you don’t support your family. When the end is near, you come in and0 lines, June 1, 2008

Just like that, her life is spent. Her time here, over. Just like that, agony extinguished and another one bites the dust. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, she didn’t live long, we’ll have to adjust. Just like that, her eyes gro0 lines, June 1, 2008. In death
