I've been asked if I've ever done anything I said I wouldn't. My answer is always, "Yes, I fell in love." I made a rule for myself and I broke it. What are rules if they're not meant to be broken? Especially those we dictate ourselves? We are our own harshest critic, and also, quite often, the only thing holding us down. I broke a rule of my own. I fell in love. I didn't mean to, I didn't want to, and once I realized it, I fought against it. But then, something happened that changed everything: I realized he was falling for me too. I continue to break a rule of my own. I fall in love with him more with every breath I draw. And I am the happier for it.

Not a moment passes I do not think of thee,
Nor an owlet's whisper I do not dream of thee,
