I have been writing poetry since I was seven, and stories since I was nine. I love writing, and it is how I express myself. I write classic poetry with rhyme and meter, and I don't like free-verse unless it is very good. Most of the free-verse pieces that I have written are from when I was younger, though I have a few from the last few years.
I write a lot of fantasy pieces, because they come easily to my mind. I believe that they don't really exist, but I love the stories and poems about them. Lately I have written mostly love poems, because that is what is on my mind, but I write other things, also, that are being finished right now.
I'm a Christian, and that affects how I write and comment. If you don't like that, I'm sorry. I would love to be friends with everyone, but I found out that trying to do that just allows people to stomp me into the dirt.
Check out www.duirwaighgallery.com/inspiration_trailer.htm it's fantastic, in the only way the word should be used.
Poets whom you should definitely check out:
SingingRain: my real-life little sister, Rachel. She's learning how to write poetry, and her attempts are so much better than mine were at her age.
Silver Sionnach: the most amazingly talented, kind, and wonderful people I have ever met. Although she is no longer with us, her poetry inspires us and her provocative stories make me think beyond regularity.
Dantes Inferno: Li's husband, and my AP brother. He writes well, and is a sweet, kind, talented man.
SamBauerBourne: my real-life friend Sean, who introduced me to the site, and who writes poetry that addresses so many important topics.
Miss Jacqueline: another real-life friend, Jackie. She is an amazing person, and her poetry is great.
Night Hope: Wanda is...nothing short of spectacular. She writes astonishingly beautiful poetry, and is a wonderful person.
masterblaster: my AP mum, Di. Her poetry inspires me, and makes me want to become so much better.
Eusebius: a wonderful poet, one whom I believe is one of the best on this site. Michael writes wonderful poetry that uses the old forms and inspires everyone.
If you want any of the quotes or poems from my old page, IM me and I'll send you the page.

Dantes Inferno on October 1It is so nice to see Liadan's comment on your page. And now I shall leave mine. You are a wonderful, beautiful, kind and smart young woman. I've missed you greatly.

Mairi bheag on February 24Interesting that you have written a hogwarts tale. I wrote a short story set there too, and had a novel about the adult Draco Malfoy in draft, but JKR's publishers blocked me. Grrr.
Best of success to you in your writing. -
Jason Logan : Backish on January 22Hey, I'm back again, if you remember me. I've been browsing your poetry, working up inspiration. I hope you don't mind, your work is always a standard i use for myself (if not the grammatical end... needing help there always.) Have a wonderful day!
