Steffeny on September 24, 2006With your chest against my chest,
with the open air in our nostrils,
we will begin to shine.
In the clear blue morning, who bathes you
in the wine of the day.
And when the shivering wood bleeds
spleechless with love
From each branch, a drop of green,
pastel blossoms,
there is in these opening things
a tremor in my flesh.
Dressed in your white nightgown,
you throw yourself into the alfalfa
Blushing at the sight of these bags
beneath your eyes.
Lover of the countryside,
scattering everywhere
like champagne foam,
a laughing madness
Laughing at me, harsh with drunkeness,
who could bear you
like that - such beautiful hair,
oh - who could drink of
your raspberry and strawberry liquer.
Oh! flower's flesh
you bring laughter to life with a kiss
like a thief in pink,
you, my lover,
gently rob me of my reason,
leaving just this laughter
in my crazy head.
