At first my poetry was just filled with simple emotions, mostly rage. But then I realized how much writing poetry helps me deal with these emotions, so I applied this new-found remedy to my ever-present depression and it helped a great deal. I am improving with practice, and I love to hear comments and critiques on my poems. I have also started to diversify my poetry by writing love and story poems, though the majority remain dark and full of emotion and cynicism.
